Kuwait Amir Invited to Attend World Urban Forum in Cairo

KUWAIT CITY: His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah has received a formal invitation from Egyptian President Abdulfattah Al-Sisi to attend the 12th World Urban Forum (WUF12) in Cairo. The event is scheduled to take place from November 4 to 8, 2024, and will focus on urban development and sustainable development goals. According to Kuwait News Agency, the forum, themed "Everything Starts from Home," aims to facilitate the exchange of successful experiences and expertise in urban development. The invitation was conveyed to His Highness the Amir by Foreign Minister Abdullah Al-Yahya, who received it during a meeting with Egyptian Ambassador Osama Shaltout. The World Urban Forum is an important global conference that addresses pressing issues related to urbanization and sustainable urban development.
