Kuwait and Bahrain Strengthen Ties with Four Key Agreements

KUWAIT CITY: Kuwait and Bahrain have signed four pivotal agreements aimed at bolstering bilateral relations, following discussions at the 11th session of the Kuwaiti-Bahraini Joint Higher Committee. The session, held at Kuwait's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, focused on enhancing cooperation in economic, investment, security, and development sectors. According to Kuwait News Agency, the Kuwaiti delegation was led by Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdullah Al-Yahya, while the Bahraini delegation was headed by Foreign Minister Dr. Abdullatif Al-Zayani. The meeting underscored the importance of collaboration between the two nations and explored ways to strengthen ties in key areas. The committee's deliberations concluded with the signing of four agreements and memoranda of understanding. These agreements cover a wide range of sectors, including ports and commercial navigation, civil service, diplomatic cooperation and training, and education. The agreements aim to facilitate increased cooperation and mutual benefit in these areas, reflecting a shared commitment to deepening the relationship between Kuwait and Bahrain.
