Martyrs and Casualties Mount in Gaza Strip Amid Ongoing Airstrikes

GAZA CITY: Thirteen citizens lost their lives and numerous others sustained injuries on Friday as Israeli airstrikes targeted various locations in Gaza City. The total number of casualties in the Gaza Strip has risen to 81 since the onset of the assaults at dawn, with 42 fatalities reported in the northern part of the region, according to medical sources. According to Maan News Agency, local sources disclosed that nine individuals were killed and several others were wounded when Israeli forces bombed a group of citizens near the Al-Shati refugee camp, located northwest of Gaza City. Additional airstrikes in the area have resulted in significant casualties among the civilian population. Further reports indicate that two citizens were killed and others injured in an airstrike targeting the vicinity of the Industrial Zone in Gaza City. The renewed violence has raised concerns about the safety of residents and the extent of damage to essential infrastructure within the city. In a separate incident, two individ uals were killed and another injured in an airstrike by Israeli forces at the fishermen's port west of Gaza City. The ongoing hostilities have intensified fears of a protracted conflict in the region, with residents facing increasing hardships amidst the escalating violence.
