Beirut: Minister of Culture Ghassan Salam©, representing Prime Minister Nawaf Salam, delivered the Lebanese Republic’s address at the commemoration of the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People, organized by the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA).
According to National news agency – Lebanon, Mr. Salam© emphasized Lebanon’s commitment to supporting the Palestinian people and their legitimate rights. He highlighted that enabling the Palestinian people to exercise their right to self-determination and establish an independent state is essential for regional stability.
Mr. Salam© also welcomed the recent international recognitions of the State of Palestine and underscored the importance of ending Israel’s violations of international law.
