Minister of Social Affairs follows up disburse of rent allowance for displaced families.

Tripoli, Minister of Social Affairs, Wafaa Al-Kilani, followed up the process of disbursing of rent allowance allocated to displaced families from some areas, in implementation of the initiative of the Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity to alleviate the suffering of displaced families.

 

This came during her meeting with the Undersecretary for Branch Affairs and the Director of the Aid and Humanitarian Affairs Department to follow up on developments of disbursement process, in the belief of the Ministry of Social Affairs that it is the sponsor and guardian for all segments of society and its role in alleviating the suffering of some groups, including the displaced and the immigrants.

 

The Ministry of Social Affairs said; the government decided to pay a rent allowance to the displaced families from the southern and eastern regions, and allocated sums of money to them, deposited in the ministry’s account, and authorized them to spend it according to the legislation in force.

 

The ministry confirmed that it has completed the payment of many lists of bills, and they will be in the accounts of beneficiaries in the coming days, and it is working to complete the process of disbursing the entire amount allocated to their beneficiaries.
