Beirut: Prime Minister Dr. Nawaf Salam engaged in significant discussions with a parliamentary delegation at the Grand Serail, addressing critical national issues with visiting officials. The delegation included MPs Nabil Badr, Haidar Nasser, Sajih Attieh, Mohammad Sleiman, Bilal Hachimi, and Ahmad Khair.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, MP Nabil Badr emphasized the gravity of Lebanon's current situation, noting that it demands the utmost national responsibility. He highlighted the importance of upholding state institutions as the sole unifying reference, urging adherence to state decisions and choices to ensure the unity and stability of the Lebanese people. Badr stressed the need to avoid political disputes during these challenging times, advocating for a focus on the supreme national interest to maintain civil peace and strengthen internal solidarity.
The meeting also addressed the general amnesty law in Lebanon, with MPs explaining its national and humanitarian significance to Prime Minister Salam. They underscored its potential to enhance social cohesion and repair the national fabric.
Additionally, Premier Salam held discussions with MP Michel Daher, further engaging in dialogues at the Grand Serail.
