President Aoun Asserts Lebanon’s Sole Authority in Negotiations

Beirut: At the start of the Cabinet session, President Joseph Aoun voiced frustration over mere expressions of condemnation and stressed that Lebanon must be included in the US-Iran ceasefire. He underlined that only the Lebanese state has the authority to negotiate, rejecting any third-party talks on its behalf.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Aoun also commended the coordinated efforts of ministries, the army, security forces, civil defense, Red Cross, and international partners in responding to yesterday's Israeli attacks. He highlighted their crucial roles in medical aid, evacuations, relief, and debris removal, and paid tribute to those who lost their lives in the line of duty.
