Beirut: Democratic Gathering Bloc MP Wael Abou Faour visited President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, at Baabda Palace. During the meeting, MP Abou Faour praised President Aoun's efforts and the initiatives undertaken by Lebanon at the Arab and international levels, commending the work of the Lebanese army.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, President Aoun also received former minister and MP Boutros Harb at Baabda Palace. They held a comprehensive discussion on the current situation, considering recent local and regional developments. Furthermore, President Aoun engaged in a dialogue with former Minister and MP Nouhad Machnouk, focusing on local issues and current regional developments.
In another engagement, President Aoun contacted Vice President of the Supreme Islamic Shiite Council, Sheikh Ali Al-Khatib, by phone. He inquired about Sheikh Al-Khatib's health following his successful surgery and extended his wishes for continued health and wellness.
