Beirut: President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, received a phone call from Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, SpaceX, and the "X" platform, who expressed his deep interest in Lebanon and its telecommunications and internet sectors.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Musk expressed his desire for his companies to have a presence in Lebanon, a move welcomed by President Aoun. The President affirmed that all possible facilities would be provided within the framework of applicable Lebanese laws and regulations.
At the end of the call, Aoun invited Musk to visit Beirut, which he accepted and promised to do at the first suitable opportunity.
