Baabda: President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, on Monday received at Baabda Palace, a delegation from the Cancer Support Fund, headed by Hala Dahdah Abou Jaber, including Dr. Ali Taher and Mr. Ziad Mikati.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the Fund cooperates with the American University of Beirut Medical Center (AUBMC) in its activities. The Fund's Chairperson Abou Jaber presented the difficulties facing the Fund, particularly in light of the difficult circumstances facing Lebanon.
The delegation extended to President Aoun an invitation to patronize the Fund's event next September. President Aoun welcomed the delegation and commended the Fund's efforts to assist cancer patients, especially during the country's difficult economic and financial circumstances. He wished the delegation success in its efforts to support and care for patients.
