Public business sector minister urges utilizing production capacities of ACR, boosting production

Minister of Public Business Sector Mohamed Shimi on Saturday 7/9/2024 asserted the necessity of utilizing production capacities of Alexandria Company for Refractories (ACR), which is an affiliate of the Metallurgical Industries Holding Company, to increase its production and exportation rates. The minister made the remarks during a tour of ACR to follow up on the work progress at its factories and affiliated companies. The minister called for ensuring commitment to the regular maintenance schedule, developing the marketing policies along with expanding in the local market and increasing the exports. During a meeting with officials of the company, Shimi was briefed on the availability of raw material required for the production processes. He get posted on the activities of the company in the refractory and ceramic industry as well as the indicators of performance, production and exportation. Shimi inspected the production lines and stages of various refractory products. Alexandria Company for Refractorie s is one of the leading firms in the field of refractory and ceramic manufacturing in the Middle East.
