Bkerke: Maronite Patriarch, Cardinal Mar Bechara Boutros Rahi, departed Bkerki early on Wednesday for a visit to southern Lebanon, in a move reflecting the significance and urgency of the mission. The convoy set off at 7:15 a.m. following a gathering at the patriarchal seat at 6:30 a.m., accompanied by a high-level ecclesiastical and official delegation, including Apostolic Nuncio Archbishop Paolo Borgia and several bishops and clergy, as well as media and security teams. According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the visit falls within Rahi's pastoral and national mission, reaffirming the Church's close bond with its people and its commitment to standing by communities enduring daily hardship, in a gesture of solidarity, presence and steadfast faith in Lebanon's message.
