Rahi Launches Agricultural Initiative in Kfarfalous to Support Farmers, Rural Resilience

Kfarfalous: Maronite Patriarch Cardinal Bechara Boutros Rahi on Friday arrived in Kfarfalous as part of his tour of Jezzine district, where he launched a project to support 1,000 farmers in cooperation with the Order of Malta Lebanon. The initiative aims to strengthen local agricultural production and help residents remain on their land.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the project seeks to bolster rural resilience by providing essential support to farmers. Rahi highlighted the centrality of land to identity and values, describing agriculture as an economic and moral path. His statements underscored the importance of sustaining local communities through agriculture.

The Maronite Patriarch also commended the Order of Malta Lebanon for its ongoing development and health efforts in the region. Rahi renewed his call for sustaining the ceasefire, emphasizing that peace and resilience are essential to securing Lebanon's future. The initiative reflects a broader commitment to fostering stability and growth in rural areas.
