Zahrani: Energy and Water Minister, Joe Saddi, on Wednesday visited the oil installations and power plant in Zahrani to express support for staff continuing their duties despite risks from the ongoing war.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Saddi was briefed by Assistant Director General Ziad El Zein and department heads on operational mechanisms and outlined plans to enhance performance and utilization, before inspecting storage tanks.
Saddi also thanked Iraq for its fuel grant recently delivered via tanker convoy and reviewed the ongoing unloading process. He later toured the Zahrani power plant and met with plant director Ahmad Abbas to discuss immediate measures and future steps.
