Madrid: Spain will impose new restrictions on arms shipments to Israel, Prime Minister Pedro S¡nchez announced on Monday, as part of a broader effort to apply pressure on the nation. The measures include prohibiting ships and planes carrying weapons destined for Israel from accessing Spanish ports or airspace.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the Spanish government is also set to enhance its support for the Palestinian Authority and the U.N. Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA). In addition to these efforts, Spain plans to enforce a ban on goods produced in Israeli settlements located in the occupied Palestinian territories. These steps reflect Spain's increasing commitment to addressing the ongoing conflict in the region through diplomatic and economic means.
