Aleppo: Syrian Interior Ministry units have commenced operations in Maskana city within the eastern Aleppo countryside to reinforce security control and impose order. The Syrian Arab Army Operations Authority has urged the SDF organization leadership to adhere to its commitments by withdrawing to the east of the Euphrates River and evacuating military elements from the city of Tabqa to allow civilian administration to resume its duties.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the Syrian Interior Ministry, following its deployment in Deir Hafer and securing its neighborhoods, has begun entering Maskana city. Interior Ministry units are now present in the streets and essential facilities of Maskana, aiming to enhance security and impose order. This move is intended to stabilize the residents' daily lives after the SDF organization's withdrawal and the city's handover to the Syrian Arab Army.
The Syrian Interior Ministry emphasized that this action is being coordinated with the Syrian Arab Army to protect civilians and secure vital facilities, thereby restoring peace and security for the residents and ensuring the city's stability.
