3 Journalists injured in Gaza due to Israeli strikes

At the Nuseirat refugee camp in the middle Gaza Strip on Friday, three journalists were hurt when they were targeted by the Israeli occupation forces.

According to Palestinian sources, journalists Sami Barhoum, Ahmed Harb, and Sami Shehadeh were injured by Israeli shelling; Shehadeh’s foot was cut.

Settlers attack the town of Al-Mughayir and shoot homes


On Friday, settlers attacked the town of Al-Mughayir, east of Ramallah, and opened fire on several homes.

The head of the Al-Mughir Council, Amin Abu Aliya, said: Dozens of settlers attacked the town from the eastern side.

He stated that the settlers opened fire on several homes, causing confrontations to erupt with dozens of citizens.

He pointed out that a large number of settlers are present at the entrance to the town under the protection of the Israeli army, amid a state of anticipation and tension.

In conjunction with an ongoing war on Gaza, settlers increased their attacks in the West Bank, and the Israeli army escalated its operations. Which led to the death of 462 citizens, the injury of about 4,750, and the arrest of 8,145

30,000 worshippers attend Friday prayers at Al-Aqsa Mosque

JERUSALEM: Around 30,000 Muslims performed Friday prayers at Jerusalem’s Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem, said the Islamic Waqf (Endowment) Department.

An estimated 30,000 worshipers held the Friday prayers at the blessed al-Aqsa mosque despite the tightened restrictions and beefed-up military deployments at the holy site gates and across the Old City of Jerusalem.

The occupation police beefed up their presence in the Old City and the surrounding area, scrutinizing the identities of young men and inspecting them.

Two Palestinians fatally shot by Israeli forces’ bullets in Tubas

TUBAS: Two Palestinians were shot dead by the Israeli occupation forces early morning near Tubas in the northern West Bank.

Sources said that a Palestinian man was killed after Israeli forces opened gun fire at his vehicle in the city of Tubas.

Heavily armed soldiers raided the said city in the morning hours and deployed their forces across the streets and alleys.

Following their incursion, Israeli soldiers opened fire at the young man while he was inside his vehicle.

Later, the Red Crescent crews announced that they had recovered the body of the young man while he was inside the targeted vehicle after the occupation forces abandoned it near the Tammoun Junction, south of Tubas.

Another Palestinian, who was identified as Muhammad Shahmawi, was shot and killed from Israeli gunfire during their military incursion into the Al-Far’a camp, south of Tubas.

Three journalists wounded in occupation attacks on Gaza, one loses foot

Israeli gunners on Friday bombarded Al-Nusairat camp in central Gaza wounding several journalists including one who lost a foot with the shells’ shrapnel.

The local authorities reported that photographer Sami Shehadeh lost a foot in the attacks that also wounded other journalists, namely Mohammad Al-Sawalhi and Ahmad Al-Loh.

They also said that the corpses of seven martyrs and 72 wounded Gazans were taken to hospitals amid artillery bombardment and air attacks on the shanty town.

Elsewhere, the occupation forces bulldozed the Palestine Bank building in Al-Zahraa, southwest Gaza, after burning it.

The occupation forces, meanwhile, continued the offensive on suspected strongholds of Hamas and Islamic Jihad around the Malaysian School and Al-Salhi Towers in Al-Nusairat camp.

The occupiers started a major raid into Al-Nusairat three days ago, killing scores of people, injuring many and demolishing a large number of buildings.

Four Palestinians injured in an attack by Israeli colonists in Ramallah-area-village

RAMALLAH: Four Palestinians were injured this evening in an attack by colonists on the village of Abu Falah, northeast of Ramallah.

Local sources said that at least four Palestinian youth sustained injuries when a group of armed colonists sneaked into the said village.

The colonists further set several Palestinian-owned vehicles and homes on fire during the raid.

Kuwaiti charity secures much-wanted meat to Gazans

The Kuwaiti Relief Society has distributed meat to war-afflicted families in Gaza after the fasting month of Ramadan.

Omar Al-Thuwaini, the society’s deputy director general, said in remarks to KUNA on Friday that the society, in coordination with the charities “Wafa” and “Rahma,” distributed during the three-day Eid Al-Fitr 52 tons of meat to the poor, displaced families and those affected with the Israeli aggression on South Gaza.

The relief activity was supported by the State of Kuwait Al-Awqaf General Secretariat.

Meanwhile, “Wafa” director general Muhaisen Al-Atawneh, said 10,000 relocated families in the enclave received amounts of donated meat during the Eid. His peer at “Rahma,” Mohammad Qaddous, said Kuwait, since the start of the Israeli aggression in early October, has doubled the aid sent to Gaza via the air, the land and sent in medical teams to treat the injured.

Much of the aid supplies that had been sent to Gaza or dropped from the air were cereals. The meat had been scarce in the shell-d
evastated and beleaguered strip.

Israeli occupation forces attack West Bank town

Israeli occupation forces on Friday raided the town of Al-Maghir northeast of Ramallah and settlers killed one young Palestinian.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health said in a statement that the martyr, Jihad Abu Alya, was admitted at the Medical Palestice Complex in Ramallah. He had been shot by Jewish settlters who surrounded his house and opened fire at him.

The ministry added that 18 Palestinians were wounded in the occupation forces’ raid on Al-Maghir. Simultaneously, settlers attacked the town and opened fire at the residents and set vehicles ablaze.
