4,786 projects submitted to National Initiative for Smart Green Projects

The Planning and Economic Development Ministry said on Sunday that the total number of projects submitted so far to the National Initiative for Smart Green Projects had reached 4,786 projects.

 

The ministry had extended the application period until September 18. All projects will be submitted by governorates to the initiative’s website www.sgg.eg.

 

Planning and Economic Development Minister Hala el Said noted that the initiative comes within the framework of Egypt’s leading role in sustainable development field and its efforts to localize the sustainable development goals nationwide.

 

Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli issued on August 9 decree no. 2738/2022 on launching a National Initiative for Smart Green Projects in all governorates under the supervision of the Planning and Economic Development Ministry.

 

The initiative shows the State’s keenness to deal with the environmental dimension and climate change issues, as well as drawing a map for all smart green projects nationwide.
