GAZA CITY: The Palestinian Authorities reported on Friday that 62 Palestinians have been martyred and 300 others injured due to recent hostilities across the Gaza Strip. This development comes amidst escalating tensions and violence in the region. According to Kuwait News Agency, the Palestinian Authorities released a press statement indicating that four massacres were allegedly committed by Israeli forces against Palestinian families over the past 24 hours. The statement highlighted ongoing Israeli air raids and intense aerial and artillery bombardment targeting the Jabalia camp in the northern part of the Gaza Strip. The Nuseirat camp located in the central Gaza Strip and the area of Rafah in the south were also subjected to raids by the Israeli army. These attacks reportedly resulted in the martyrdom of several individuals and injuries to dozens more, further exacerbating an already dire humanitarian situation. The statement also revealed a staggering increase in the overall death toll from Israeli acti ons, with the number of martyrs reaching 42,500 and injuries totaling 99,546 since October 7 of last year. The conflict has seen a significant escalation, leading to widespread casualties and displacement among the Palestinian population.
