Beirut: House Speaker, Nabih Berri, on Tuesday welcomed Iraq's Charg© d'Affaires, Mohammad Reda Al-Husseini, at the Second Presidency headquarters in Ain El-Tineh. Discussions focused on the general situation in Lebanon and the region, as well as bilateral relations between the two countries.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the meeting between Berri and Al-Husseini aimed to strengthen the diplomatic ties between Lebanon and Iraq. Both parties exchanged views on how to enhance cooperation in various sectors and addressed the overarching political and economic conditions affecting the region.
The dialogue also underscored the importance of mutual support and collaboration in addressing regional challenges. The meeting was part of ongoing efforts to foster strong relationships between neighboring countries in the Middle East, highlighting the significance of diplomatic engagement in promoting stability.
