Beirut: Amal Movement's presidency body member, MP Dr. Qabalan Qabalan, received Mohammad Reda Al-Husseini, the head of the Iraqi diplomatic mission in Lebanon, at his office in Beirut. This meeting marked an acquaintance visit by Ambassador Husseini, who recently assumed his diplomatic duties in Lebanon.
According to National news agency - Lebanon, the discussion between MP Qabalan and Ambassador Husseini focused on the general situation and the bilateral relations between Lebanon and Iraq. Ambassador Husseini emphasized the longstanding ties between Beirut and Baghdad, which reflect affinity and mutual cooperation. He stressed the need to strengthen these ties for the benefit of both nations.
MP Qabalan expressed gratitude towards Iraq's government, authorities, and citizens for their supportive actions towards Lebanon. He conveyed his best wishes to Ambassador Husseini for success in his new role.
