Beirut: House Speaker Nabih Berri met with the newly elected President of the World Lebanese Cultural Union (WLCU), Dr. Ibrahim Constantin, and his delegation at the Second Presidency headquarters in Ain al-Tineh. The delegation included the Union's Secretary-General, Mohammad Reslan, and members of the new administrative body, along with the Chairman of the Union's Board of Trustees, former Union President, Abbas Fawaz.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the visit by the WLCU was a protocol meeting following the election of its new administrative body. This meeting also served as a platform to discuss the general situation concerning the Lebanese Diaspora and affairs related to Lebanese communities abroad.
In a separate meeting, Speaker Berri engaged with the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Lebanon, Mojtaba Amani. The discussions focused on the latest political developments, the general situation in Lebanon and the region, and the bilateral relations between Lebanon and Iran.
