Beirut: The Iraqi Ministry of Transport announced on Wednesday midnight the temporary closure of Baghdad International Airport as a result of deteriorating weather conditions.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the ministry confirmed that flight operations were suspended due to low visibility caused by severe weather. The statement added that operations will resume once weather conditions improve, noting that further updates will be issued accordingly.
