BEIJING: China will continue to promote high-standard financial opening up and make its policies more transparent and predictable, said Pan Gongsheng, governor of the People’s Bank of China.
In a statement carried by China Global Television Network (CGTN) from a recent press conference, the Chinese central bank governor affirmed that China will expand the opening up of financial services and the financial markets, improve the business environment for foreign financial institutions and make the country a more attractive place for foreign financial institutions and long-term capital.
“We support Chinese financial institutions going global and expanding their international market,” he added, noting that China will also steadily expand the two-way opening up of its financial market.
The second session of the 14th National People’s Congress held a press conference at the Media Center Hotel in Beijing recently, briefing domestic and foreign media on issues regarding development and reform, financial and budget,
commerce and financial securities.
