Deputy Planning and Economic Development Minister Ahmed Kamali said on Monday the government is keen to boost cooperation with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) given that housing issues represent a top priority for Egypt’s development policies.
During his participation in a symposium, held by UNFPA, Kamali lauded the European Union’s support of Egypt’s National Population Strategy and National Project to Develop the Egyptian Family.
The Planning and Economic Development Ministry is keen on offering all data and demographic statistics across the country to plan the best policies and understand population-related matters, he added.
