Amman: The Ministry of Government Communication is set to evaluate the performance of public media and institution spokespersons, as announced by Minister of Government Communication Mohammad Momani. This initiative was shared during a meeting held at the Prime Ministry with various public institution spokespersons. According to Jordan News Agency, Minister Momani emphasized the Ministry's collaboration with the Minister of State for Public Sector Modernisation to pinpoint the challenges faced by official spokespersons. The objective is to enhance the flow of information to the public. Momani highlighted the essential role of spokespersons within the official media system and expressed the government's intent to further empower them. This empowerment aims to enable spokespersons to execute their crucial roles in providing information to the media, planning media strategies for their respective ministries and institutions, and elucidating government decisions and their impacts on citizens. Furthermore, Minis ter Momani stressed the importance of aligning the spokespersons' efforts with the three modernisation paths: political, economic, and administrative. This alignment is seen as key to ensuring that the information disseminated is both relevant and effective in reaching the public domain.
