INTERIOR MINISTER: TAMPERING WITH SECURITY IS PROHIBITED

“Lebanon is still living in multiple economic, social and security crises, and these crises have increased since the explosion of the port of Beirut,” said the caretaker Minister of Interior, Bassam Mawlawi.

He pointed out that “the people have suffered a lot from politics, politicians and the political class as a whole, and we do not accuse everyone of corruption.”

Mawlawi considered that “getting out of the crisis of the presidential vacuum in Lebanon is by applying the constitution.”

Finally, the minister stressed “if this crisis is aimed at a social explosion, the Lebanese have shown that they do not want any social crises and tampering with security is prohibited.”
