Minister: Egyptian reserves to host several events in solidarity with Gaza

Several peaceful events are planned to take place across Egyptian reserves in order to advocate for an end to the ongoing aggression in Gaza, Environment Minister Yasmine Fouad said Friday 16/02/2024.

Fouad was participating in a ‘run for Gaza’ marathon hosted by the Wadi Degla Reserve under the auspices of the Egyptian Tribal and Families Council to support the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

Minister of Social Solidarity Nevine el-Kabbaj and Minister of Youth and Sports Ashraf Sobhi also took part in the event with the participation of about 10,000 people from Egypt and 30 other countries around the world.

The aim of these events is to show support for the Palestinian people, and to promote their legitimate right to live a peaceful and dignified life, Fouad said.

The Egyptian state joins hands with all its relevant institutions to put an end to the war in Gaza and confront the plot aiming at liquidating the Palestinian cause, she added.
