PM: Unprecedented incentives for green energy-linked projects


Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli has directed to speed up procedures to hold meetings with different companies that signed agreements in the green energy field to develop green fuel projects.

The premier’s directives came on Wednesday night while he chaired a meeting of the National Green Hydrogen Council in the presence of the ministers of electricity and renewable energy, petroleum, justice, international co-operation, housing, transport, irrigation, military production, public enterprise and industry and a host of respective officials.

The upcoming meetings aim will announce packages of unprecedented incentives for companies that take rapid actions for running projects related to the inked agreements.

During the meeting, the participants reviewed the progress of studies on allocating a number of plots of land for carrying out green hydrogen projects.

They also approved the establishment of the international council of green hydrogen in Egypt at the headquarters of Nile University, the Cabinet Spokesman
Mohamed Al Homsany added.
