Sharjah: The Sharjah Book Authority (SBA) has revealed the sponsors and partners for the 43rd edition of the Sharjah International Book Fair (SIBF 2024), scheduled to occur from 6th to 17th November at Expo Centre Sharjah. This highly anticipated event will include talks, cultural activities, interactive workshops, and a vast selection of books from global publishers. According to Emirates News Agency, this year's fair, themed 'It Starts with a Book,' is supported by various industry leaders. Etisalat by eand has been named the official sponsor, while the Sharjah Broadcasting Authority is the official media partner. Expo Centre Sharjah joins as the strategic partner, reflecting its vital role in hosting the event. Additional sponsors include Al Marwan Group, BEEAH Group, Arada, Invest Bank, and Skiply, all contributing significantly to the fair's stature as a premier global platform for culture, innovation, and literary appreciation. These partnerships underscore the fair's importance across numerous key se ctors, with Etisalat by eand providing advanced telecommunications solutions and services that enhance communications and digital transformation. SIBF 2024 will set a new milestone by hosting 2,520 publishers from 112 countries and featuring 400 authors signing their latest works. The fair's extensive agenda will include 1,357 activities led by 250 distinguished guests from 63 countries, appealing to a diverse audience with its rich offerings. In a special highlight, Morocco will be celebrated as the Guest of Honour, with programs, discussions, and exhibitions that honour its rich literary and cultural heritage.
